The Youth Education Council (YEC) is committed to fostering an appreciation for Scottish culture and music among youth, while providing instruction and learning from the top bagpipers and drummers around the world. As a part of the Western United States Pipe Band Association, the YEC seeks to empower novice and veteran members alike to help develop their skills and reach their full potential as musicians and as members of the bagpipe band community
